SIPA conducts Searches at Eleven Locations

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today, by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, in the area of the Canton of Sarajevo, began the operational action “Capital” for the crimes of “Murder” and “Attempted Murder” from February and March last year.

Searches are being conducted at 11 locations.

The action is carried out with the aim of clarifying the criminal offense “Murder” from Article 166 in connection with the criminal offense “Attempt” from Article 28 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which occurred on February 15, 2022 and March 16, 2022 in Sarajevo to the detriment of Matej Živković, the deputy president of the Securities Commission of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during which the named person was wounded by several bullets.

SIPA police officers will interrogate the suspect Jasmin Hasić during the day, and it is planned to question several people as witnesses.

Searches are carried out in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration.

In the course of work on the above-mentioned case, SIPA police officers cooperated with the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Center for Forensic Examinations, Expertises and Research of the Federal Police Administration, the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Criminalistics Technical Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska. and the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska – PU East Sarajevo and Sarajevo Canton.
