Taking measures and actions in their jurisdiction, the police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) discovered a larger amount of mine explosives in the Modrica area on Wednesday.
In the report published on SIPA’s official website on Wednesday, it was stated that police found a total of 216 mortar shells, 110 lighters and powder filling for mortar shells.
Namely, SIPA police found 49 mortar shells of 120 mm caliber, 95 mortar shells of 82 mm and 72 mortar shells of 60 mm caliber.
Explosives found were left after the 1992-1995 country’s war and will be deposited in a warehouse of BiH’s Armed Forces, SIPA said.
