Inspectors of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH (SIPA) will investigate the origin of complete property of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, a highly-positioned officer of this agency confirmed for the media.
The warrant for the monitoring of Dodik’s property, as well as the property registered on members of Dodik’s family, was issued to the SIPA’s inspectors by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH!
Dodik has been a part of huge financial affairs for years, although none of them were proved. The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH made the biggest progress last week, when SIPA arrested the owner of the Pavlović Bank, Slobodan Pavlović, due to suspicion that he gave a fictive loan of 750.000 EUR to Dodik, who used the money to buy a villa on Dedinje, Belgrade. Investigation is still in progress. Pavlović is currently in house arrest.
Dodik does not hide that the value of his property is estimated to several millions BAM. However, he always claims he earned it all with effort and hard work.
In his property card, Dodik stated that he earned 247.194 BAM only in 2014, all from wages and income from agriculture and renting of a house in Belgrade.
Dodik keeps it no secret that he has two apartments in Belgrade and one in Laktaši. Their value is estimated to 740.000 BAM. He also revealed that he has houses in Laktaši and Belgrade, worth two million BAM.
Dodik’s son Igor owns a huge orchard near Laktaši. The media recently found out that precisely this orchard got a loan of three million BAM from the Investment-Development bank of the RS. Dodik did not deny the loan, but he said he does not see what is in dispute there.
Dodik’s wife Snježana, as well as his daughter Gprica, also own expensive real estate. According to the Center for Investigative Journalism (CIN), property of Dodik’s wife Snježana is worth 250.000 BAM.
