Sixteen Persons arrested in the Area of Zvornik

In the area of Zvornik, the action of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Republika Srpska and the Gendarmerie is in progress within the police action aimed at preventing the unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotics. 16 people were detained, it was confirmed for BHRT.

In the action code-named “Drina”, searches were conducted at 23 locations and certain material evidence was seized.

During the search, 73.1 grams of cocaine, about two kilograms of skunk, 41,653 BAM, 4,356 euros, three digital scales, as well as other items that could be connected to the commission of criminal acts were found, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska announced.

The activities are carried out on the orders of the competent courts and prosecutor’s offices.
