Ski Season will be extended until the End of April

ski seasonDue to a snow cover that additionally created good conditions for skiing in April as well on Olympic mountains Bjelasnica and Igman, ski season will be extended until the end of the month.

This information has been confirmed by the director of the Olympic center Bjelasnica-Igman, Suad Jusic, adding that he still cannot talk about the precise date on which the ski season will be closed.

“The official date of closing the season was 15th April. Due to new quantities of snow, season will be extended until further notice, probably, until the end of April. If weather conditions are good, we can say that we will extend that date as well“, emphasized Jusic.

According to Jusic’s words, stabilization of weather conditions in the next few days will additionally improve ski conditions on Bjelasnica and Igman.

Winter tourist season 2014/2015 on the Olympic mountains Bjelasnica and Igman  has been opened on 21st December last year.
