The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, thanked the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the assistance provided after the devastating floods hit Slovenia.

Nataša Pirc Musar, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Slovenia and in her own name, thanked for all the support and expressions of solidarity that Slovenia received from Bosnia and Herzegovina during the devastating floods in Slovenia, which took many lives and left many people homeless.

“Floods have caused enormous damage in our country, which has never happened in its recent history. Their consequences are immeasurable at the moment, but we can see unimaginable images of the devastated affected areas. More and more frequent and bigger natural disasters warn us of the great importance of mutual aid and solidarity “I am very happy to see how many countries appreciate these values and how many responded to our request for help. Allow me to thank you once again for all the support, which we greatly appreciate in these difficult times for Slovenia,” she said.
