telecommunication1Telekom Slovenia is currently considering adopting certain telecom operators in B&H, with the goal to become the leading alternative telecom operator in the country, confirmed to Reuters Rudolf Skobe, the Director of this company.

Skobe did not go into the details of the plan, nor did he speak about the specific names of B&H companies that they are interested in.

Telekom Slovenia marked a profit growth of 17 percent last year, thanks to cost control and strengthening its position in the region. Profit rose to 52,3 million Euros, and the total income to 799,2 Euros. In 2014, an additional growth of profit is expected by 15 percent.

The government of Slovenia announced the sale last year of several companies that are state-owned, among which is Telekom.
