mini_hidrocentrala_05052010The municipal assembly of Petrovo gave an approval on Thursday for the issuance of preliminary water approval to the company “EEH-Hidroenergija” from Gračanica in the FBiH for the construction of mini hydroelectric plants on the river Spreča, which is the inter-entity line between the RS and the FBiH, municipalities Petrovo and Gračanica.

More than 4 million KM will be invested, and should be built in the next three years as long as the investor provides all necessary preconditions, especially environmental ones and guarantees that the farmland in Sprečansko Polje will not be flooded, in the area of municipality Petrovo.
