Snow caused Problems on certain Roads in BiH

Traffic is slow on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, on wet and slippery roads, announced the Bosnia and Herzegovina Auto-Motorcycle Club (BIHAMK). Traffic in Bosnia and Herzegovina is also difficult due to the snow that started falling in the afternoon.

In the higher mountain areas, sleet or snow falls and sometimes stays on the road. The following routes are distinguished: Sarajevo – Rogatica (Romania), Trnovo – Foča (Rogoj), Sarajevo – Tuzla (Karaula), Bihać – Petrovac (Ripač), Petrovac – Drvar (Oštrelj), Koprivnica – Bugojno – Kupres – Livno, Jablanica – Blidinje – Posušje, Blidinje – Tomislavgrad and Glamoč – Mlinište.

Attention is drawn to rock falls on the road. Due to a major landslide, traffic on the main road Crna Rijeka – Jajce has been stopped, and the alternative route is via Mrkonjić Grad.

Drivers are urged to drive with maximum caution in all directions, to keep a safe distance between vehicles and to adapt their driving to the current road conditions.

Rehabilitation works are carried out on the main roads: Jablanica – Mostar (Begić and Begović bridges), Novi Travnik – Bugojno (via Rostov), Bilješevo – Lašva, Ključ – Sanski Most (at the entrance to Sanski Most, near the Water Park) and Čevljanovići – Nišići . At the work sites, traffic is slow, with vehicles passing alternately.

The traffic of passenger vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased at the border crossings: Velika Kladuša, Gradina, Dubica and Gradiška. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.
