ihacPrimary and secondary schools in the Una-Sana Canton,  have cancelled classes due to last night’s heavy snow falls.

“Pursuant to Article 31 of the Law on Primary and Secondary Education, due to adverse weather conditions in the area of the Una-Sana Canton, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has decided for the termination of teaching in primary and secondary schools,” a public statement announced.

This interruption will last from the 6th until the 13th February 2015, and was announced in a document signed by the Minister Dario Jurić.

Bihac and other cities around are covered with snow to a depth of 40 centimeters, making it difficult for cars to drive and pedestrians to walk.
