SNSD and its coalition Partners hold a Rally in Banja Luka

A rally under the motto “The Fatherland is calling for us” was held this evening in Banja Luka, organized by the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and its coalition partners.

The president of the SNSD and the party’s candidate for the president of the RS, Milorad Dodik, said that they “have already won 12 times and that he believes in the idea of an independent RS”.

He said that he does not respect the leaders of the opposition who held a meeting at the same place ten days ago.

“I don’t need anyone to defend me, but only to be elected by the people. I will never try to win without the support of the people,” said Dodik.

The SNSD vice-president and a candidate of that party for the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović sent out a message to the “unlawful Central Election Commission that 100,000 people will come to their door because they decided to recount the votes in Sarajevo at the request of the opposition who are traitors and losers.”

She claimed that this rally was “a turning point in history” and that they demand that “the will of the people be respected.”
