Armin Salkić Funeral source.baFuneral for the soldier Armin Salkić, killed on Wednesday in Rajlovac during the shooting, was held yesterday by praying the prayer for the death at the local cemetery Preočica near Vitez, where the killed young man comes from.

The funeral and burial were attended by nearly 2,000 members of family, friends, soldiers and officials, among whom was also the Deputy Minister of Defense of B&H Emir Suljagić.

The funeral prayer was led by the military Mufti Hadis ef. Pašalić, who expressed gratitude and pride towards the Armed Forces of B&H.

“Let’s stay dignified, determined and brave in fight against terrorism. Armed Forces of B&H are read to defend the independency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We should not forget Armin’s family; especially the Armed Forces of B&H should not do that. I am proud of the Armed Forces since it is an example of unity of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Pašalić after the prayer.

Prior to descending the coffin into the grave, the state flag was folded by the members of the Armed Forces of B&H and handed over to the family, thanking them for their son’s service. During the burial, members of the Armed Forces of B&H said the final goodbye to Armin with honorable salvo.

As a reminder, members of the Armed Forces of B&H Armin Salkić and Nedeljko Radić were killed and the soldier Dževad Ljukovaca suffered minor injuries on Wednesday evening in an attack performed by Enes Omeragić in Rajlovac.

By the decision of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, yesterday was the Mourning Day in B&H and the flags were lowered to half-mast.
