Special representative of the EU in BiH Peter Sorensen, together with representatives of Public Enterprise ”FBiH Highways” and representatives of Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH visited today construction site of the International Border crossing Bijača, as well as the construction site of subsection Bijača- Kravice and Zvirovići-Kravice.

After his visit, Sorensen said to journalists that he came to see the construction status of the crossing, which should be finished by 1 July when Croatia becomes the EU member.

”There is no time to waste, and crossings must be built so that BiH could continue to export and import good after Croatian accession to the EU”, said Sorensen and added that BIH will achieve the goal if everyone does their part of the job.

Manager of ”FBiH Highways” Ensad Karić said that his company will do everything it takes to finish the job on time and confirmed that the job will indeed be finished before the deadline.
