Sound Signals at the Crossroads in the Municipality of Novi Grad

semaforThe representatives of the Municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo, the Association for Blind and Visually Impaired People of the Sarajevo Canton and the Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth Sarajevo, today will let into operation the sound signal at the crossroad Alley Bosne srebrene and Ramiz Salčin in Neđarići, to mark the 15th October, the International White Cane Safety Day.

Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo is implementing the project of installation of sound signals on crossroads, in order to facilitate the blind and visually impaired people an easier and safer move in traffic.

In the future, this project will continue with installing of acoustic signals at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the Boulevard Meša Selimović between the municipal building and RTV.
