The junior national team of B&H made a sensational success! The final result of the match against Spain was 70:64 in the quarterfinals of the European Championship.
They started very well in the first section of the game. They took the lead with a score of 9:0, and the result was 23:19 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter they also played great, but only had four points of advantage in the end. The result was 40:36 in favor of our national team.
They came to a fall in the third quarter. Spain took the lead with a result of 19:7, and upon entering the last ten minutes the result was 55:47.
However, they managed to neutralize the advantage of Spain with a great attack, and triumphed in the end. Ibrahim Durmo played the key role in the final, and our national team achieved the greatest success in history.
The BH team was led by Edin Atic with 28 points, 12 rebounds and four assists, while Ibrahim Durmo added 12 points and 5 rebounds.
