Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirjana Marinković Lepić, sent a telegram of condolence to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BiH, Sadık Babür Girgin, on the occasion of the earthquake that struck his country and people.

“The sadness and regret I feel for the loss of life, suffering and destruction suffered by the friendly Turkish people are immeasurable. We extend our deepest condolences to you, the families of the victims and injured citizens and the people of the Republic of Turkey, on behalf of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and our behalf, over the tragedy that struck your country and your people,” stated Marinković Lepić in the announcement published on the website of the FBiH House of Representatives.

The FBiH HoR also published a statement in which the House of Representatives, with deep regret and sympathy, expresses its readiness to help the population in the areas affected by the catastrophic earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

“Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. We wish them a speedy recovery and are ready to provide all kinds of help,” the statement reads.
