Special Forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton to get New SUVs?

suvUnit for special purposes of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton yesterday received five modern SUVs from VW, whose value is about 360,000 BAM.

In this way, a fleet of this unit and the entire police force was increased to 40 vehicles, which makes this unit among the best equipped ones in BiH, as stated at the ceremony held in the MIA TC.

This is the continuity of activities of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Administration to improve the material and technical equipment of the police structures in the canton. Five new SUV’s will be used by the Support Unit, and they are also planning procurement of highly sophisticated radars, as well as motorcycles for increasing the level of safety of road users,” said Miralem Malkic, Head of the Uniformed Police of TC.

Malkic explained that these are fast-terrain vehicles, thanks to which the Support Unit of the MIA TC have equipment approximate to police standards in developed countries, so that they will be able to answer all the challenges such as terrorism, corruption and crime of all kinds, and all in order to increase the safety of our citizens.

Minister of Internal Affairs of TC Husein Topcagic emphasized that the Government of TC will find ways in the future for better police equipment, and therefore its greater efficiency.
