Last evening, the citizens of Sarajevo attended a real spectacle for which the credit goes to the BH strongman Adin Arnaut and the Association of patients with multiple sclerosis.
In front of the Sarajevo City Center Arnaut pulled a Centrotrans bus 15 tons in weight, in this way bringing the attention to the population suffering from this terrible disease.
The event, which was attended by a great number of people, was held under the motto “Together we are Stronger – Zajedno smo jači”, and the blend of people with multiple sclerosis and the strongman Arnaut have demonstrated it.
“The blend is very natural, very deliberate. Each year, the Association of patients with multiple sclerosis of the Sarajevo Canton marks the World Day of fight against this terrible disease with which the members of the association cope in a special way, through the intention to be socially useful. This year we decided to make it in an interesting way, with the intention to attract the public attention and provoke sensibility”, said Gordan Muzurović, the president of the Association.
Adin responded to their call last night and numerous visitors had the opportunity to see the cooperation of the people with low mobility and a man with 140 pounds of lean muscle. The objective was to show that all people, regardless of the disease, are equal, and that we are all stronger together. Strongman is a friend of the Association of patients with multiple sclerosis of the Sarajevo Canton for several years now, and tonight he first picked up a Hyundai car several times, after which he pulled the Centrotrans bus.
“I will always try to respond to these people, because I think that we all have to respond to these things and show sensibility. It was not a problem to pull the bus, since in China I dragged a truck weighing 38 tons. This was quite accelerated, and the break between the two categories is usually 40 minutes. However, it was not difficult”, said Arnaut after the spectacle.
The members of the Association last night also collected donations which will help them in their work, and Arnaut is going to prepare for the next challenge: The Strongman Championship in Bulgaria, which is to be held on June 20th.
