This year, as well as in previous years, the Sports union of Canton Sarajevo is organizing the international street race “Vivicitta 2014”.
According to the Sports Union, the race will be held on 6 April at 10:30 in front of the Commemoration to the children killed in occupied Sarajevo 1992-1995.
Official participants (athletes) will run 3 circles, hence 12 km, and the other participants, students of primary and secondary schools, university students and veterans will run 4 km.
The organizers expect a great number of participants and invite Sarajevo citizens to magnify this event with their presence.
