Music app Spotify shared the results of its users yesterday and provided insight into the most listened to artists and songs in 2023.

The list of the most played songs consists of 50 hits, and some of them even made it to the Billboard chart in the past 12 months.

Miley Cyrus’ hit “Flowers” was the most streamed song in the world, garnering more than 1.6 billion streams worldwide. The song was released in January of this year, and it talks about self-love, inner strength and self-confidence.

In second and third place are “Kill Bill” by SZA and “As It Was” by Harry Styles. Fourth and fifth place goes to “Seven” by Jung Kook and “Ella Baila Sola” performed by Eslabon Armado and Pesa Pluma.

The most streamed artist in 2023 was Taylor Swift with more than 26.1 billion global streams as of January 1. This information is not surprising, since the world star became a billionaire this year thanks to her “Eras” tour.

Second place went to Bad Bunny, who for the past three years was first on the list of the most listened to artists on Spotify. The Weeknd, Drake and Peso Pluma are in third, fourth and fifth place.

When it comes to albums, most of them were released before 2023. The most streamed album of the year was “Un Verano Sin Ti” by Bad Bunny, with more than 4.5 billion streams globally.

It is followed by the album “Midnights” by Taylor Swift. SZA takes the third place with the album “SOS”, and in fourth and fifth place are “Starboy” by The Weeknd and “Manana Sera Bonito” by Karol G.

Also, a list of the most listened to podcasts was published, where the sports podcast “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” took first place, and it is interesting that Travis Kelce is Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Klix.ba reports.
