Reconstruction of the square in front of the National Theater is finished.

The works began on May 24th of this year, with a huge effort on the side of investors and contractors so that the reconstruction would be finished before the deadline.

All work on underground installations are finished, there’s a new sidewalk on the side of the square that’s on the Street Branialaca Sarajeva, the old asphalt foundation on the same side was also eliminated.

Decorative bushes and stone plates were also installed.

A delegation of the Municipality of Center, the National Theater and the Sarajevo Film Festival visited the Susan Sontag Square, where the contractor presented what was done, which was also the official end of the reconstruction.

The value of the project, which was financed by the Municipality of Center, is 1,141,802 BAM.
