Representatives of political parties who signed the platform of joint action in Srebrenica municipality said that the platform shouldn’t be changed, and that Serb parties should talk with the mayor of Srebrenica about the position of mayor’s deputy.

President of SDS of Srebrenica Momčilo Cvjetinović believes it would be wrong to give up the principle of regulated platform of political parties that have councillors in the Municipal Assembly.

” We’ve agreed that the deputy mayor will be Serb from SDS. Serb bloc should talk with the mayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković about that position. We also agreed that we schedule a new constituent session of the Municipal Assembly in order to elect the president and vice president of the Assembly as well deputy Mayor’’ ,said Cvijetinović.

Durakovic said that he will talk with Serb block and in cooperation them, he will appoint his deputy by January 11, and he hopes that by January 15 a new Municipal Assembly will be constituted and at the first session of the Assembly, councillors should discuss temporary financing, because the municipal budget for this year has not been adopted, and also the councillors should elect new leadership.

”I want to use the right to participate in the election of deputy, because I will the one who’ll cooperate with him or her, and I hope that that person will be competent enough to contribute to welfare of Srebrenica”, said Duraković.

Cvjetinović i Duraković think that the distribution of personnel should be on the principle 50:50, because that is the election results, 11 Serbs, 11 Bosniaks and one Roma deputy.

On the basis of the signed inter-party platform for joint action, all members in the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly will the assembly majority and no one will be in the opposition.
