Mladen Nedic, also known as Steel Bosnian, became the first citizen of BiH who managed to run the dual ultra-triathlon four years ago and now he made a step further in the discipline that represents the limit of human endurance.

This man from Tuzla became a triple Ironman that crossed 677.4 kilometers. Nedic participated in the World Championship in Lensahn in Germany, where he completed a triple triathlon, i.e. he swam 11,400 meters, drove bike for 540 kilometres and ran a triple marathon in the length of 126 kilometers.

Nedic finished everything in 50:36:33 and also made his personal record, considering the fact that he was planning to complete this in 58 hours. Of the 44 participants in the men competition, Nedic ended up on the 23rdplace, while the first place went to Robert Karas from Poland.

On the other side, this story also has humane side since Nedic, in cooperation with the Foundation of Tuzla Community, started the project of reconstruction of a children’s playground in the settlement Sjenjak in Tuzla.

Namely, all persons and institutions can purchase kilometres he ran or rode on the bicycle. One kilometre is 50 BAM.
