A storm accompanied by rain and thunder, and in some places hail, affected parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The storm hit Odžak, where some settlements were left without electricity.

Rain and wind started falling in Banja Luka after 19:00, causing considerable damage to the city’s streets. In the Banja Luka village of Borik, the wind felled a tree.

Hail fell in the Podkozar part of the Novi Grad municipality. According to the first information from the field, there was ice in the settlements of Ravnice, Vodičevo and Dobrljin.

The storm also hit Derventa and, according to initial information, no major damage was recorded.

The storm first hit Italy, and then Slovenia and Croatia, from where the storm clouds reached our country.

An orange warning has been issued for most of Bosnia and Herzegovina for today and tomorrow due to local showers, accompanied by thunder and strong winds, and the appearance of hail is also possible.

According to the recommendations of the World Meteorological Organization, the population should be prepared for debris carried by the wind, and for the possibility of interruptions in the supply of electricity.
