The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, as reported by the media, has rejected the request of Milorad Dodik’s legal team for an interim measure to stop the implementation of court decisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on which he was stripped of his mandate as the entity’s president.

The decision does not prejudge the outcome of the appeal, which the Court will eventually decide on in the next stages of the proceedings, after the case has been forwarded to BiH and all parties to the proceedings have submitted their statements.

There is no information on the current stage of Dodik’s appeal.
