bosanaFoundation Bosana is organizing the fifth humanitarian event (5th annual benefit) on 10 May in Los Angeles, which is expected to have more than 200 invitees, said Senita Slipac to Fena, the President of Bosana Foundation from Los Angeles.

Last year 35.000 dollars were collected, and Slipac said that this year they expect a number of friends from B&H to collect at least that much money.

‘’Due to the fact that we are organizing this humanitarian event for the fifth year in a row, we will include new things that were not present at this event. This is an award for the biggest humanist who helped Bosana, and also helps B&H and its diaspora. Therefore, we will give the award to the person who has been most committed to preserving the traditions and humanitarian aid’’, said Slipac.

This year for the first time in Los Angeles student from the second year of the Faculty of Economics in Bihać Nađa Kasumović will travel there, who won at the competition for best essay on the topic ‘How to solve youth unemployment in B&H?’.

‘’Our goal was to encourage students to think about how to solve this problem, to convey their ideas to us. If they show signs of creative ideas Bosana Foundation wishes to support them, and in this way we will contribute with students to solving one of the problems of youth in B&H’’, said Slipac.

Bosana Foundation lends financial and moral support to students all over B&H.

‘’All that we thought was never possible with students, has become feasible on the day when we received one by one into the Bosana family. With the possibility of education we received chances to develop and in some other aspects of life, and to realize our dreams’’, said Nađa Kasumović to Fena Agency.
