Students to Gather Innovators in the Sector of Electronics and Hardware

141029006.1_xlAt the Electrotechnical University of Sarajevo tonight, at 18:00 o’clock, the Makers Meetup Sarajevo – gathering of innovators in the sector of electronics and hardware will be held.

This kind of gathering is being held for the first time in B&H and it is organize in order to popularize the “maker movement” which is currently one of the biggest development generators in the Silicon Valley.

The workshops and presentations at the Makers Meetup will be held by students of the Electro-technical University in Sarajevo, the International Burch University, Universtiy of Freiburg and the Faculty of technical sciences of Novi Sad.

“Our goal is to meet each other and through socializing exchange knowledge about the newest trends in the domain of hardware and IT as well as to present to each other the projects we are working on. Besides, we wish to show ways that help young people to make success in the country and the world by making their own hardware and startup companies.” – stated Davor Jurić on behalf of the organizers.

“The gathering has a great support from the business and academic community in B&H and we have around 100 guests which announced their coming among which students and engineers of technical sciences from across B&H as well as assistants and professors from the ET University in Sarajevo and the IBU.” – was stated in the announcement.
