Emin Sehic from Kakanj is a successful third year student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo, Department for Computer Science and Informatics.
Several years ago, Emir won at the Burch Olympiad, together with his fellow citizen Said Sikira, and after that he competed at the project Otkucaji.net with the aplication Instadia, for the improvement of health system. According to Emir, he got to love programming back in high school with his professor Sead Delic. Since then, the interest for programming has only been growing.
Emin’s last project is titled Mace Roll; an arcade game for Android operational system.
“The game was created in Unity 3D. The player controls the spiked ball and attempts to collect as many coins as possible, and therefore unlock further levels of the game. Each coin must be collected at specific tim,e which adds to the dynamics of the game. On the way to the goal, the player meets various obstacles as well as bonuses, such as glass, whose breaking is really interesting”, said Emin.
The game is already a hit on the social networks among the people from Kakanj. This is also the first android app coming from Kakanj.
According to Emin, he has been working on this game for a month and the creation required a lot of patience, since some things were not working as expected at moments. However, in the end, he managed to complete the game on his own, with a lot of effort invested.
“Since the first reactions of the players are positive, I am hoping for the success of the application both in B&H and beyond. I am currently preparing a couple more applications which are not games, and which will be socially useful and improve some aspects of living in B&H”, Emin said.
Emin’s primary goal in the future is to complete the bachelor studies, and then enroll and complete master studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo.
“I want to improve myself in the field of programming as much as possible, and of course create a lot more applications, since this is just the beginning”, Emin concluded.
