Increased Demand for Sprind asgroup.baThe Sarajevo food industry Sprind JSC Sarajevo has produced nearly 410 tons of food more in the first months of this year than in the same period in 2014. Dough layers, as the most recognizable brand of Sprind, are recording the greatest increase in sales. Only in September 2015, the sale was 15 percent higher in comparison with September last year.

“We have achieved this result thanks to the developed sales network and the quality of the bakery and other products. This year, products of Sprind are being distributed to more than 90 new sales outlets in B&H. Traders are increasingly demanding our dough layers, frozen puff pastries, fresh bread and pastries, mlinci, kadaif, cakes, because that is what the end consumers request”, explained the Director of Sprind Memnun Trako.

This year, Trako considers, the products of Sprind are brought closer to the consumers and more visible both at the sales outlets and in the media.

“This year, we have made two short videos for dough layers, we have advertized in the catalogues of buyers, organized promotions across B&H. We have introduced the latest software for sales and management. We are moving forward. We are currently working on developing brands, individually for each category of products. In that context there is a possibility for hiring young and professional staff for the posts of brand managers next year, all with the aim of expanding the assortment and placing to the markets outside of the BH borders”, Trako said.

Sprind produces more than six tons of food annually, thereby placing itself among the largest individual food producers in B&H.

Sprind has been operating within the AS GROUP since last year.
