Rudi Garcia thanked Bazdarevic for sparing Dzeko

AS Roma Training SessionThe coach of AS Roma Rudi Garcia thanked the coach of the BH football national team Mehmed Bazdarevic for sparing Edin Dzeko in the last two matches of the qualifications for EURO 2016.

Garcia pointed out he is satisfied that Dzeko recovered and entered the competition for today’s match against FC Empoli.

Dzeko has been sidelined ever since the last month’s victory against Carpi (5:1) and Garcia was afraid that Bazdarevic will put the injured captain of the BH national team in the game and thereby risk the deterioration of the health condition of the BH ace.

“Dzeko was not ready to play, and he did not play. Perhaps he could have entered from the bench at the match against Cyprus, but in the end he did not have to. Today he withstood the entire training with the team. He is coming back to shape and playing fearlessly again”, Garcia stated.

Garcia is looking forward to Dzeko’s comeback to the team, as well as to Castan’s and Rudiger’s, while Totti and Strootman are still sidelined.
