Damir Rozajac was the only confectioner from BiH who participated at the world competition in Istanbul and brought home valuable awards.
This confectioner works in a pastry shop Palma in Sarajevo and has been working this job for 13 years. In addition, he is a member of the Culinary Association of Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
“Few days ago, I came back from the World competition in Istanbul where 35 countries and 2.000 chefs and confectioners participated. I was preparing sweets in three categories and won three medals“, said Damir.
His exhibit in the field of arts in confectionery was the Sarajevo Sebilj from sugar.
“Its preparation took about a month, and it was 50 cm wide and 70 cm high. I won the bronze medal for it. Also I have prepared a child cake with characters from Pinocchio. I have achieved a positive result in that field as well and won one more bronze medal. I won a silver medal for a group work of BiH“, explained Rozajac.
He is the winner of numerous medals around the world and two times World champion in confectionery.
