Successful Forum in Doha, BH Companies attracted a lot of Attention

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, led a delegation of the Council of Ministers of BiH on the Business Forum Qatar-BiH, which was held in Doha in the organization of the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar.

Possibilities of economic cooperation between BiH and the State of Qatar were presented on the business forum, as well as the investment potential of BiH.

In the opening, speech, Chairman Zvizdic noted that the interest of both parties is to improve their economic cooperation, especially the exchange of goods and the increase of number of investments. He presented the business environment in BiH and stated that BiH is a country open to businessmen and investments. He also added that the state is systematically regulated the process of investments and it strongly supports foreign investors.

He also informed the participants about the earlier meeting with the Prime Minister of Qatar, who supported all the presented ideas on cooperation.

Chairman Zvizdic also informed all the attendees with the economic potentials of BiH in the fields of tourism, energy, wood industry, military industries, agriculture and production of healthy and halal food, the pharmaceutical industry as well as infrastructure projects.

He also added that BiH is especially interested in long-term strategic cooperation, through which it would import new knowledges and technologies and open new workplaces. He stated that a delegation from the Council of Ministers of BiH came to Qatar to offer concrete projects and to seek for a partner for economic development. He invited the businessmen of Qatar to visit BiH.

Business Forum was attended by the Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Sarovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak, Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH Ismir Jusko, the Director of FIPA Gordan Milinic, and the Ambassador of BiH in the State of Qatar, Tarik Sadovic.
