The official visit of BiH business people to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which was headed by the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija was successful, according to the business people and the Ministry.
More than 40 companies and various institutions had the chance to speak at three organized business forums on opportunities for business cooperation.
What Minister Lagumdžija particularly underlined was that the hosts were amazed by the organization of our delegation. He revealed that by the summer business forums should be organized in Russia, Great Britain and Azerbaijan.
“I explained to the hosts the construction of the tunnel Vijenac or 1 March and they paid particular attention to this. First one firm collapses and then another, but our builders have successfully completed the tunnel from both sides. Their only mistake was six millimeters of imprecision’’, said Lagumdžija.
He also said that he during the meeting he mentioned several times the friendly relations between the UAE and BiH and the need for better economic cooperation.
“We did not come here for them to give us something. People came here full of confidence and will to work, and our hosts recognized that’’, added Lagumdžija.
FBiH Highways were in concrete negotiations with “Abu Dhabi Fund”, which would address the financing of some areas of Corridor 5-C.
Enes Čengić, the Director of “Energoinvest” underlined that it is good that politics and the state opened the door to business people in this way.
“We went to look for a job, and not help, and after 20 years the doors are open for “Energoinvest” for business cooperation in the UEA’’, added Čengić.
