Sucessful Humanitarian Action for Stray Dogs in Tuzla

pujdoYesterday, in the premises of the coffee pizzeria “Gajba”, the informal group of citizens organized humanitarian action “Drink tea for Tuzla Pujdo (dog)”. The action was organized from 12:00 until 14:00 o’clock and collected food and money are intended to be spent on the stray dogs from the streets of Tuzla.

“First impressions after the completion of the action are extremely positive. We managed to collect 113 kilograms of food and 631 BAM. For the collected money we will buy more food, and then we will agree on its distribution, “says Leila Trle, one of the organizers of the Tea Party for” Tuzla pujdo “.

There are no precise data on the number of stray dogs on Tuzla’s streets, but that number is certainly not small. The big problem presents the large number of puppies that irresponsible people drop out of their car and leave them at the mercy of an unknown environment.

“Part of the food will surely be delivered to the Dog Shelter. We will continue our actions in the future. Otherwise, we do not keep only dogs but also other animals,” adds Leila Trle.
