On the night between 29 and 30 March, the summer period will start and hence the clock will be moved one hour forwards.
At 2:00, on the night between Saturday and Sunday, the hands on the clock will be moved one hour forward, which means that it will be moved to3:00. Namely, citizens will have to wake up an hour earlier.
The summer time in Europe will last until the last weekend in October.
In the former Yugoslavia, the summer period was introduced on 27 March 1983. Since 2002, the European Union, as well as other European states, determined the summer period, which will start in the last week of March and finish in the last week of October.
