The 9th solo  album Between Sunrise and Sunset Opus Magnum XII of the Dutch-Bosnian composer and Maestro Nihad Hrustanbegovic is inspired by 12 artworks: Sunrise by the Ocean (Vladimir Kush), Young Parisian (Pierre Auguste Renoir), Love (Robert Indiana) , Panorama Mesdag (Hendrik Willem Mesdag), The Great Wave off Kanagawa (Katsushika Hokusai), La Liberté guidant le peuple (Eugène Delacroix), The Kiss (Gustav Klimt), La Joie de Vivre (Pablo Picasso), West lake in Hangzou ( Anonymous), Mona Lisa (Leonardo da Vinci), The Allegory of Bosnia Herzegovina (Alfons Mucha) and Cliff at Etretat, Sunset (Claude Monet). Each composition is written in a different key 12 in total (7 white and 5 black keys) and played on the Grand piano. Genre: Classical, Ambient, Film music, New Age. The album has been  recorded at the Pavaroty Music Center and Studio in the  city of Mostar,  Bosnia Hercegovina on Console SSL 4000 of the Eden studios London, used in the eighties by George Michael, Nigel Kennedy, Kylie Minogue and Oasis and with use of  7 microphones (Neumann U87 AI 2 X, Neumann KM 100 X 3, AKG C414 X 2. Lexicon EFX 480) Mix, mastering and sound design are the work of PMC Mostar. The Pavarotti Music Center and Studio Mostar was created and designed by Luciano Pavarotti in collaboration with Bono Vox, Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel. It is built on the ruins of a primary school destroyed in the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina and is dedicated to the children of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

CD Credits: Producer and composer Nihad Hrustanbegovic. Sound, mix and mastering Pavarotty Music Centre Mostar with Pro Audio Equipment from Eden studio’s London. Art work, design and layout Frederiek Zabel,  Amsterdam. Solo Grand Piano, Nihad Hrustanbegovic. Total time 74 minutes. Nihad Hrustanbegovic: “I composed the first version of Opus Magnum XII and recorded it on accordion in 2012. That version is not published but the concerts where I played those compositions were the reason for Zefir Records to release a CD with Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in 2015. This year I decided to pick up Opus Magnum XII again. The result is this latest album. ”
