Support the ‘Car Free Day’ – Let’s gather on Wilson’s Promenade

wilsons-promenaeThe Ministry of Transport of Canton Sarajevo will mark today’s day, the 22nd of September, as the ‘Car Free Day’.

Come to the Wilson’s Promenade on the bridge ‘Ars Aevi’ today, starting at 10:00 am.

Within these activities will be carried out distribution of leaflets and promotional materials, and in one part of the street of Wilson’s promenade will be complete suspension of motor traffic within 24 hours, as a way of promotion the development of pedestrian flows, cycling area, reduce of air pollution and reduce of traffic noise.

The Ministry of Transport of Canton Sarajevo in the period from the 16th to 22nd of September 2016 marks the campaign “European Mobility Week”, which is marked this year with a special focus on the topic: “Smart Mobility – strong economy – investment in Europe”.
