The newly appointed ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Julian Reilly, paid an initial visit to the Ministry of Security of BiH yesterday, where he met with Minister Selmo Cikotic.
Minister Cikotic introduced the ambassador to key security challenges and priorities in the work of the Ministry and security services. He especially emphasized the good cooperation between the two countries in the field of security and expressed his willingness to continue strengthening those relations.
Considering the current security threats in the world, he emphasized the need for further improvement of cooperation.
Ambassador Reilly pointed out that the long-standing friendship of the UK and BiH is reflected in their constant support for the sovereignty, stability, and security of BiH.
He also announced his support for the further strengthening of the institutions of BiH and the fulfillment of the conditions on the Euro-Atlantic path of our country – the Ministry of Security of BiH announced.
