Support of the Municipality of Velika Kladuša to the Raspberry Production

maline(1)The Mayor of the Municipality of Velika Kladuša, Edin Behrić, signed the agreement about the mutual cooperation regarding the implementation of the project “Improvement of the cooperation and coordination with diaspora” with the directors of the agricultural cooperatives from Velika Kladuša “Bašo” and “Agromerkantilija”, Nermin Bašić and Adis Džanić.

The municipality will, along with the diaspora, support the cooperative production of raspberries with 55 000 BAM in a way that each one of 11 users gets 5 000 BAM.

The total surface of the raspberry plantings concerning this project is 2,2 hectares e.g. 0,2 hectares or 2 dunams per user.

The mayor Behrić expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the agreement and his hope that the project will be successfully implemented. It is implemented within the project “Migrations and development” financed by UNDP, the Government of Switzerland and the Municipality of Velika Kladuša. Its total value for the Municipality of Velika Kladuša is 70 000 BAM and it’s deadline for implementation one year.
