Sušić: It Is Detrimental for This Generation

sušić“Only one goal decided against us and on our misfortune. I think we should congratulate Nigeria, they made chances and they played well, much better than what we saw when they played against Iran. They had more luck and because of that they won”, said Safet Susic after the defeat of the BH team from Nigeria.

Selector of the B&H team believes that players should be committed in the final round and provide maximum against Iran. However, Susic honestly adds that it would not be easy to motivate the players after such a defeat and to provide the ultimate in a match that does not have much significance.
“After this defeat it is hard to re-motivate the players and ask from them to try and to provide maximum. But our duty is to be honest and say goodbye. It is really misfortune for this generation, but what I do not blame them”, added Susic.
