Support for the European path of BiH and the fight for gender equality are the priorities of the Swedish Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the upcoming period, Anders Hagelberg, the Ambassador of Sweden to BiH said during the reception on the occasion of the National Day of Sweden.
“Sweden celebrates June 6th as a national holiday for only 20 years and marks what happened in 1523, when Gustav Vasa, who united Sweden, was elected to the king,” Hagelberg said in Sarajevo during his address.
“The foreign ministers of Sweden and BiH had two meetings this year, one in Stockholm, and the other in Sarajevo, and we can proudly say that 100,000 people live in Sweden today,” Hagelberg says.
