The two-day international symposium on the topic “Strengthening Competiveness of Companies and Implementation of EU standards in BiH-Status and Perspectives” began yesterday in Vlašić.
Ismet Kalić, the Director of the educational and consulting house Finconsult from Tuzla, which is the organizer of this symposium, announced for Fena that it is one of the biggest and most prestigious gatherings aimed at financial accounting and management professions in BIH this year.
A large number of accountants, auditors and managers from BIH are attending the symposium, and it is planned for the symposium to continue in the next few years at the same time and place”, said Kalić.
He said that the topic of the symposium is at the right time due to the forthcoming accession of Croatia to the EU, due to which the strengthening of the competitive of companies and implementation of EU standards is a key factor not only for growth but also for the survival of BiH businesses.
Among the lectures that will be held are the financial contagion during the crisis, mortgage, accounting servicing profitable business in free market, tax harmonization/coordination in EU and tax competiveness of BiH companies, and PDV in context of increasing competiveness of economy.
