Floods that affected parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday continued to make problems for citizens. In some places water stagnation has been registered and water levels have decreased, but in other areas water continues to make life difficult for those who struggle for their homes.

The Federal Civil Administration took photos of the floods from the air, and Fahrudin Solak said there were several interventions in terms of evacuation during the night.

This morning, there was a significant fall of all rivers. River Sana is also declining, next to Usora and Bosnia River, News Agency Patria.

Hundreds of families in several Bosnian towns and surrounding settlements spent a sleepless night on Monday, fearing that the 2014 scenario when floods and landslides ravaged parts of the country and forced many to leave their homes, may happen again.

The most severe cases were recorded in the area surrounding the northern cities and towns of Banja Luka, Sanski Most, Celinac, Teslic, Doboj, Maglaj…, where authorities declared the state of emergency, N1 reports.
