“Take Vucic’s Threats seriously, urgently deploy NATO troops on the Border”

The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association “Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves” sent a letter to numerous international organizations, including NATO, EUFOR, PIC and OHR, where they commented on Serbia’s actions regarding the resolution on Srebrenica.

In the letter sent by the associations, it is emphasized that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, claims that he will oppose the resolution with all his might.

“Given that the President of Serbia claims that Serbia will oppose with all its might the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica and that he is proud of the results of the campaign against the admission of Kosovo to the Council of Europe and the resolution on Srebrenica, hinting that the adoption of the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica will open Pandora’s box. We wonder what the opening of the ‘Pandora’s box’ means with the weapons received from Russia and China? Does it mean a new war or the continuation of the unfulfilled dreams of the Serbian president?”, they said.

They also said that any threat to peace is a serious violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

“The very announcement of the President of Serbia about the ‘opening’ of something is a call to the guarantors of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina to protect peace. The President of Serbia is a person who publicly threatened: ‘for one Serb we will kill a hundred Muslims’ and the statements of such a person must be taken seriously. We invite all representatives of the international community to take the threats of Aleksandar Vučić most seriously and to urgently deploy NATO forces on the border of BiH and Serbia”, they concluded.
