The Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Radovan Višković stated that the issue of small shareholders is being resolved in order for the Republika Srpska to take over 100 percent ownership of “Railways of the Republika Srpska”.

Višković said that they are working on the restructuring of “Railways of the Republika Srpska”.

Calling for patience, Višković explained that it is a long-term process, which does not end in a month or a year, but continues and takes its own course.

“About 15 days ago, at the Government session, we had a decision and approved the hiring of a certain number of workers on the railways of the Republika Srpska, namely those that the “Railways” were looking for and precisely those who work in the field – from train drivers, railway workers and gray ones who they need, and without which the system itself cannot function,” Višković added.

“Railways of the Republika Srpska” in the first six months of this year recorded a loss of 9.7 million BAM, and they also have a problem with the lack of workers in the field.
