Tax Debtors in the Republika Srpska owe 264.9 Million BAM

The largest 100 tax debtors in the Republic of Srpska owe about 264.9 million BAM in direct taxes and contributions – data from the Tax Administration of the RS.

There are many debtors in bankruptcy on this infamous list and these debtors are more or less famous, such as “UNIS” – Pipe Factory in Derventa, which is the largest debtor with more than 16 million BAM.

The latest data on debtors is as of June this year, and what is surprising is that among the biggest debtors is the joint venture “Elektroprivreda RS” (parent company). According to the data of the Tax Administration of the RS, this strategic enterprise owned by the RS owed about 12.8 million BAM in taxes and contributions at the end of the sixth month. Thus, they are in second place in terms of the amount of tax debt in the RS.

ERS is not the only public company that is a tax debtor. These are also “Šume RS”, which employs the largest number of workers in the RS, and at the end of June they owed about 1.7 million BAM in taxes and contributions.

On the list of large tax debtors from the public sector are the Municipal Assembly of Sokolac, which owes about 3.1 million BAM, the public institution National Park “Sutjeska” with a debt of about two million BAM, and the City Development Agency of Doboj with about 1.3 million BAM. and the municipality of Brod owes the same amount.

Among the biggest tax debtors are two sports clubs – Basketball club “Igokea” Laktaši, which at the end of June owed about 1.6 million BAM in taxes and contributions, and Football club “Rudar” Prijedor with a debt of more than one million BAM.

A big debtor and the fifth largest debt is the company that deals with the production and repair of “Kosmos” Banja Luka, which owed about 10.5 million BAM at the end of the first half of the year.

The list of tax debtors also includes the company “Bosfor Mason Construction” d.o.o., which was founded a few years ago. Banja Luka owes about 1.2 million BAM. This company brings workers from abroad who are engaged in construction work in Banja Luka.
