During the criminal investigation, it was established that 14 persons are directly linked to the commission of the criminal offence. Of these, 11 are citizens of the Republic of Croatia, and three are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the Police Administration of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton (TC) announced in connection with Saturday evening’s brawl between fans of Hajduk and Red Star near Dubrave International Airport.

They are currently being held in the detention facilities of the Police Administration of the TC Ministry of the Internal Affairs. After criminal processing, they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of TC.

In the clash between the fans, 23 people were injured, and 93 were detained at the police station.

The TC Ministry of the Internal Affairs was notified on Saturday evening at 9:55 p.m. that a fight had broken out between fans of Hajduk and Red Star in front of the entrance to Dubrave International Airport.

After the incident, 18 people sought medical assistance at the University Clinical Center Tuzla due to sustained injuries.

One injured person was kept for treatment at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, where they were hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit due to severe injuries to the head, spine, chest, and arm, as well as multiple bodily contusions.

The other injured persons were, after admission, diagnostically processed and treated at the Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery, the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology, and the Clinic for Neurosurgery, after which they were discharged for home treatment, the University Clinical Center Tuzla stated.
