TE Gacko Achieved Biggest Production Last Year Since It Was Put into Operation

TE-GackoThe thermal power plant TE Gacko produced 158.105.600 kilowatt-hours in January, which is 2,6 percent higher than planned, confirmed to Srna Borivoje Vujičić, the Executive Director for the production of electricity and development of this company.

Vujičić recalled that during the previous month, the block was deliberately excluded from the network due to the mechanical cleaning of the boiler, but after 77 hours it was synchronized to the network and is in good operating condition.

He said that the landfill power plant has around 190.000 tons of coal of the expected value of heat, available for combustion and production of electricity and that supplies of fuel oil and support for the combustion of lignite is in accordance with the plan and amounts to 1.000 tons.

‘’In the coming period we expect production in accordance with the electro-energy balance of the RS’’, added Vujičić.

Last year, with 1.746 gigawatts of electricity, TE Gacko had the biggest production since it was put into operation in 1983.
