Company “Prevent” will open a sewing smocks section in Stolac, and at the beginning 20 people from this city will be employed.

Training and retraining of unemployed persons are currently in progress, in cooperation with Employment Bureau in order to start production in which 20 people will be employed.

The production section is located in an already existing hall in the industrial zone of Stolac, where cartons were placed before the war.

“Company Prevent will continue to consider this region for further business expansion, but concrete plans and further strategy will be discussed only after we evaluate the results of the first phase of this investment in Stolac, “ it is said from Prevent.

Demir Mahmutcehajic, SDP President in Stolac told that this is a great move and he hopes that this is only the beginning of employment process.

“I hope that Stjepan Boskovic and HDZ will not ruin this investment as all others. In 2012, at the HDZ congress, he promised his voters that forge would not open in Stolac. I’m afraid that this Preevent’s project will be realized because Boskovic does not want any employment in Stolac, especially if it comes to returnees – Bosniaks and Serbs, “ Mahmutcehajic said.

In the end he said that he would love to be proved wrong and to hire people because the situation is bad. The production section is located in an already existing hall in the industrial zone of Stolac, where cartons were placed before the war.
