“Microsoft in BiH is making great efforts for the transformation of education and increase of the competitiveness and competitions like Imagine Cup represent one of the platforms that enable students to acquire some practical experience and business knowledge even before graduation, which should enable them to establish new companies on the basis of their own ideas. Students from BiH have a tradition of good results in this prestigious competition and we believe that the team of Knowlead will use this opportunity at the meeting with leaders from the IT industry in the finals in Seattle,” said Omar Krivosija, director of Microsoft in BiH.
The winning team Knowlead from BiH, which was consisted of team leader Ekrem Nurovic and members Haris Botic, Amer Zavlan and Ejub Hadzic, designed an online platform for the exchange of knowledge, through which students can share their knowledge and gain knowledge from their colleagues. This concept is based on the exchange of knowledge, and users do not have to pay anything as long as they provide their knowledge to other users.
Six teams from Central and Eastern Europe qualified for the finals in Seattle, and the winning team will receive the grand prize in the amount of 100 000 USD, which they will be able to invest in the development of their project.
